Arizona-Based Nationwide Vision Celebrates 30th Anniversary in 2015
Full-Service Vision Care Provider and Employer of 600 Arizonans Marks Milestone Throughout the Year with More Store Openings
Chandler, Ariz. – March 2, 2015 – Nationwide Vision, an Arizona-based business, is celebrating its 30th anniversary of transforming eye care in Arizona in 2015. The company, which started in Chandler with five employees, has grown to more than 66 locations across the state serving thousands of Arizonans each year.
Nationwide Vision was founded in 1985, creating a vision center where patients could receive the personalized attention of a small business but with the convenience and prices of a large chain. The company has grown to 66 locations across Arizona, with two eye laser centers in Phoenix and Tucson and two medical eye centers in the Valley. Nationwide Vision employs nearly 600 people across the state in its vision centers and corporate office in Chandler.
“Our number one priority is protecting the health of your eyes,” says Nationwide Vision President and CEO Al Bernstein. “It’s been a privilege to serve Arizonans for 30 years and help them access the best eye care available. We’re looking forward to continuing our growth throughout the state and being able to help more Arizonans fulfill their eye care needs.”
Nationwide will be able to serve more Arizonans when it opens a new vision center in Tucson later this month, where patients can schedule eye exams, purchase eyeglasses, and contact lenses as well as receive cataract and refractive consultations. Three new vision centers across the state are also scheduled to open this year. At all Nationwide vision centers, patients can learn about the array of vision correction options available, including LASIK, and how cataract surgery can correct cataract-related vision problems.
