Eric Johansen, OD

Dr. Eric Johansen is dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive eye care to his patients at Nationwide Vision in Sierra Vista, Arizona. With a commitment to excellence and a passion for helping others achieve optimal eye health, Dr. Johansen brings over 10 years of experience in the field of optometry.

After earning his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pacific University, Dr. Johansen completed his residency at Gallup Indian Medical Hospital, where he gained specialized training in ocular disease and primary care optometry. His expertise spans a wide range of services including routine eye exams, contact lens fittings, treatment of ocular emergencies, and the management of ocular diseases such as glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy.

Dr. Johansen believes in the importance of patient education and takes the time to ensure each patient understands their eye health and treatment options fully.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Johansen remains actively involved in the optometric community, staying abreast of the latest advancements and treatments in eye care through continuing education and professional development.

Outside of the office, Dr. Johansen enjoys spending time with his family, exploring the outdoors, and is an avid sports fan.
