Provider Enrollment Specialist Job in Mesa

Enrollment Specialist 

Our growing eye care organization has an immediate need for an experienced Enrollment Specialist who is familiar with provider data management and credentialing. 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for internal office and provider requests. 
  • Keep all provider enrollment data up to date and current at all times. 
  • Complete re-credentialing paperwork as needed. 
  • Keep all internal enrollment tracking methods up to date.  
  • Keep CAQH updated with accurate and current information. 
  • Keep NPPES updated with accurate and current information. 
  • Maintain constant contact with insurance payer representatives. 
  • Communicate enrollment updates and issues to leadership. 
  • Follow up with payers on outstanding enrollments on a weekly basis. 
  • Maintain all demographic changes for all providers.

  • Good understanding of insurance payers and enrollment methods. 
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve basic enrollment issues
  • Excellent organizational skills

  • Consistently creating a positive work environment by being team-oriented
  • Excellent verbal, written, and social skills. 
  • Ability to work overtime if/when needed. 

Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
